Mindful Cards for Parental Well-Being
from February 2025 to June 2026
What is the project about
The UP project aims to create a digital deck of cards for professionals supporting parents, with a focus on rainbow and blended families. It seeks to equip professionals with inclusive tools to enhance parental well-being, encourage peer support, and foster personal growth. The project also aims to provide accessible resources for non-traditional families, ensuring diversity and inclusion are fully addressed in parenting support.
What we want to bring to the world
The partner will co-create the digital card deck through an expert meeting to identify core parental needs for non traditional families and an action research with parents to test and gather feedback necessary for the finalisation and ensuring relevance for parenthood as transformative journey. The card deck will be freely available online, ensuring accessibility across multiple devices. Additional resources on how to use the card in 1:1 or group settings will specially target adult educators.
Throughout the project the realisation of the digital cards will allow:
- 10 external organizations working with non-traditional families to be involved to ensure content relevance and committed to use and suggest the digita cards
- 60 parents participating in 8 circles for direct engagement and test
- 80 adult educators attending the launch event to learn about the e-platform usability and advantages
- 500 accesses to the e-platform to use the digital cards and other resources available
