About the Workshop
Social Presencing Theater (SPT) is a method created by the Presencing Institute that enables individuals and groups to experience their current reality more clearly and to allow them to move into a saner, more compassionate future. This workshop provides training in applying embodiment practices, in particular Social Presencing Theater in leadership and change work. It is designed for facilitators, activists, consultants and anyone engaged in organizational and social change processes with some experience on SPT.
This deepening workshop intends to explore transformational shift processes from “Ego- to Eco-Awareness” – in the understanding of Theory U. What supports systems to develop the capacity to see itself? What are – noticeable – manifestations of such a shift? And in particular how can Social Presencing Theater be used as a research as well as capacity building tool in this respect?
The workshop will look therefore into specific aspects of facilitation as well as reflection that supports transformational shift processes from ego- to eco awareness. How can you as a facilitator of SPT methods support such processes? What can you pay attention to in the phase of observation and reflection? These are two core questions that will be central to the exploration in this workshop.
Please Note
As basic requirement participants need to have done a SPT Basic Course. A list of upcoming basic SPT courses available in Europe can be found on the website of Arawana Hayashi as well as of the Presencing Institute. A basic workshop is offered by Arawana Hayashi in Vienna the two days before this workshop – 13/14 June 2021.
Arawana Hayashi
Arawana’s pioneering work as a choreographer, performer and educator is deeply sourced in collaborative improvisation. She currently heads the creation of Social Presencing Theater (SPT) for the Presencing Institute. Working with Otto Scharmer and colleagues at the Presencing Institute, she brings her background in the arts, meditation and social justice to creating “social presencing” that makes visible both current reality and emerging future possibilities. Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be completed by notifying LIMINA via email at info@limina.at
Cancellation received thirty days before the start of seminar will receive a full refund, minus 30 Euros management fees.
Cancellation received fifteen days before the start of seminar will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the course fees, plus 30 Euros management fees.
This fee is not refundable and cannot be credited to any other event fee organised by LIMINA.
Cancellations received less than fifteen days or failure to attend without notice, will be charged for the full seminar fee.
LIMINA can accept participant replacement if notified in due time.
